The Brow Lift


The Brow Lift is a face-yoga exercise designed to target the muscles around the eyebrows and forehead. This exercise can help reduce the appearance of horizontal forehead lines and sagging eyebrows, providing a more lifted and youthful look.
Target Face Muscles
Frontalis Muscle: This muscle covers the forehead and raises the eyebrows. It's the primary muscle targeted in this exercise.
Orbicularis Oculi: The part of this muscle around the eyebrows is also engaged during the exercise.
How to Practice the Brow Lift
Starting Position: Sit or stand comfortably with a relaxed posture.
The Movement:
- Place your index and middle fingers just above each eyebrow on the forehead.
- Gently press these fingers down to create resistance.
- While maintaining this resistance, raise your eyebrows using your forehead muscles.
- Hold this raised position for a few seconds, then relax and lower the eyebrows.
Duration and Frequency: Repeat this lifting and lowering motion 5-10 times. You can do this exercise once or twice a day.
