Daily Face-Yoga Tarot Exercise
The Eye Toner

The Eye Toner is a face-yoga exercise specifically designed to target the muscles around the eyes. This exercise aims to strengthen and tone these muscles, potentially reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and contributing to a more alert and refreshed look.
Target Face Muscles
Orbicularis Oculi: This circular muscle around the eyes controls the closing and opening of the eyelids.
Levator Palpebrae Superioris: This muscle elevates the upper eyelid and keeps the eyes open.
How to Practice The Eye Toner
Starting Position: Sit or stand comfortably with a relaxed posture. Keep your face relaxed, especially around the eye area.
The Movement:
- Close your eyes gently.
- While keeping your eyes closed, lift your eyebrows as high as possible, creating a sense of tension in the upper eyelids.
- Hold this position for a few seconds.
- Relax and return to the starting position.
Duration and Frequency: Repeat this lifting and relaxing motion 5-10 times. You can do this exercise once or twice a day.
Benefits
Strengthened Eye Muscles: Regular practice can lead to stronger muscles around the eyes, potentially reducing eye fatigue.
Reduced Fine Lines and Wrinkles: This may help minimize the appearance of crow's feet and other fine lines around the eyes.
Improved Eyelid Tone: This can assist in toning the eyelids, potentially reducing drooping or sagging.
Promotes Relaxation: Focusing on eye muscle movements can be calming, reducing stress levels.
