The Lip Lift


The Lip Lift is a face-yoga exercise that focuses on the muscles around the mouth, specifically targeting the lifting of the upper lip. This exercise can help enhance the definition of the lip line and may contribute to a more youthful appearance.

Orbicularis Oris: This circular muscle surrounds the mouth and primarily engages in this exercise.

How to Practice the Lip Lift
Starting Position: Sit or stand comfortably with a relaxed posture.
The Movement:
- Keep your mouth closed and relax your lips.
- Focus on using the muscles of your upper lip to lift it as high as possible towards your nose without opening your mouth or flaring your nostrils.
- Hold this lifted position for a few seconds.
- Then, relax and return to the starting position.
Duration and Frequency: Repeat this lifting and relaxing motion 10-15 times. You can do this exercise once or twice a day.
