Daily Face-Yoga Tarot Exercise
The Pout

The Pout is a face-yoga exercise that focuses on the muscles around the mouth, specifically targeting the action of pouting. This exercise can strengthen these muscles, potentially enhancing the definition of the lips and reducing the appearance of fine lines around the mouth.
Target Face Muscles
Orbicularis Oris: This circular muscle surrounds the mouth and primarily engages in this exercise.
Mentalis Muscle: Located on the chin, this muscle is also involved when performing a pout.
How to Practice The Pout
Starting Position: Sit or stand comfortably with a relaxed posture.
The Movement:
- Begin with a relaxed face.
- Pucker your lips and push them forward as if you are forming a pout like you're about to kiss someone.
- Hold this pouted position for a few seconds, feeling the stretch and engagement in your lip and chin muscles.
- Then, relax and return to the starting position.
Duration and Frequency: Repeat this pouting and relaxing motion 5-10 times. You can do this exercise once or twice a day.
Benefits
Toned Lip Muscles: Regular practice can lead to stronger, more defined muscles around the mouth.
Enhanced Lip Definition: This can help enhance the contour and fullness of the lips.
Reduced Fine Lines: This may help minimize the appearance of lines around the mouth.
Improved Muscle Control: Enhances the ability to control and coordinate movements of the lips.
